Today we poker burned and sanded all our crosses. We also drilled holes into them and threaded some string through it to be hung on a Christmas tree or your wall. Finally, we polished off our advertisement posters and printed off a prototype to see what it would look like in real life. Dan was a big help too and fixed one of the ones I had accidentally stuffed up. The only really bad thing that happened today was that one of our gold painted pinecones broke and we weren't able to fix it. Overall I think we had quite a good day and are ready to set up and start selling on market way.

Reflection 7
Today I made really good progress and made another 4 crosses and we've nearly finished all of the pine cones and tree decorations. We finished our sign for Christmas tree ornaments and I used the poker burner to engrave some words into the crosses that I made. The sander I use to round the edges of my crosses burned out though so I then had to find an alternative which was to put a hand sander into a vice and use that. I also found the perfect stain for our crosses and it finishes them off beautifully.

Reflection 6
Today we spray-painted some pine cones we had collected from Dan's farm and the drilled some holes into the decoration crosses and tied string around it. We also used a hot glue gun to attach string to the spray painted pine cones so that they are ready to be put on a Christmas tree. I finished another two crosses too and used the poker burner to engrave patterns and designs on them. Following up on what Mrs. Roland said, we also made a start on our advertisement posters and pamphlets.

Reflection 5
Today we had a assembly first block so we didn't get much done in the morning but in block 2 me Giacomo, Taye and Dan decided to join groups and we are now making comfort crosses Christmas tree crosses and pine cone ornaments. I have currently finished 2 crosses and am half way through another 2. The rest are sanded, cut, had their corners rounded and just need to have their sides curved and stained.
We've mad some pretty good progress on the Christmas ornaments too. The crosses are all sanded and Dan has the pine cones ready to go and collected at his house.
